False US-Mexico border comparisons
Equating Israel's barrier with the one on the US-Mexico border is ignorant and offensive. There is no comparison between trying to stop racist terrorist groups from murdering innocent people and trying to restrict immigration.

Why the barrier exists
With the 2nd Intifada, racist terrorist groups forced Israel to choose between making Palestinian lives more difficult or allowing more innocent Israelis to be murdered. The barrier is the tragic result of a brutal campaign of suicide bombings against Israeli civilians.
